What Reply is
A coin launcher that lives in X replies. You do not connect a wallet to launch. You reply.
Who gets paid
Always the author of the parent post. Never the replier. Never a quote-tweet author unless that quote is the parent. Replies to replies use the immediate parent.
Author of the post you replied under100% of creator fees
You, the person who replied “@replydotfun”$0
Someone who quote-tweeted it$0
Reply0%
How a launch happens
- 1Public post exists.
- 2Someone replies. The reply must include @replydotfun. Extra words are allowed.
- 3@replydotfun reads the parent, creates the coin, and replies in the thread with the ticker, the fee recipient, and a link.
- 4Fees from trading that coin are assigned to the parent author’s X account and paid via X Money.
What the coin is
- —Name and ticker are derived from the post: the first meaningful words, or the author’s handle if there are none.
- —Image is the post’s media if it has any. Otherwise the author’s avatar on a dark field.
- —Description is the post text, truncated.
- —Link back to the original post is permanent.
Rules
- —Parent post must be public.
- —Author account must exist and not be deleted.
- —One coin per post. Later @mentions on the same post get a reply with the existing coin. No second mint.
- —The launching reply must be a reply. Not a top-level post. Not a quote without a reply.
- —Rate limits: an account can trigger 5 launches per day. A parent author can receive 3 coins per day.
- —If X Money is unavailable for that author, fees accrue in their Reply balance until they can be sent.
- —Deleted parent post: trading can continue. New launches on it are rejected.
- —@replydotfun will not mint from its own posts, from private posts, or from posts that are only “@replydotfun”.
Fees
Creator fees from the launch platform go 100% to the parent author, via X Money.
Reply does not take a cut. Not of creator fees, not of payouts. The replier doesn’t get one either.
There is no APY and no estimate. This is what has actually been sent:
Fees sent so far$214,883.17
Why the replier is unpaid
If the tagger got the fees, people would farm random posts. The product is: turn attention into money for the person who wrote the thing.
Risks
- —X can limit the account or its replies.
- —X Money can delay, fail, or be region-locked.
- —A coin can go to zero.
- —Authors did not ask for a coin. Anyone can mint one off their post.
- —Reply can halt new mints. Already-created coins keep their fee routing.
What Reply does not do
No wallet connect to launch. No dashboard points. No boosting. No “estimated earnings.”
